Gym software is one of the newest things to happen to a gym since the treadmill. They allow a user to track their workout information without having to record everything by hand. Some of the more complex versions include motion sensors and can tell how many reps were done and even how many steps were taken.
Gym software can be programmed on a computer with a workout plan that when combined with a special watch or sensor can provide timing for workouts and warn the user when to switch machines, rest, or work harder. They also track a lot of information that can be uploaded at the end of the workout to check the progress from week to week.
Gym software can act like a personal trainer by calculating weight, body mass and other parameters and then create a customized workout plan based on the goals of the user. They can help a person focus on either improving their strength, lowering weight or just toning up as each goal requires different exercises.
